I wanted to give you a rundown on how I do things from scheduling to ordering prints. I hope this helps with booking an appointment with me. 

                          Please make sure you read my policies before booking an appt. 

First major question is, what are my prices?

     I would need to know what kind of session you are wanting first so I can give you the right pricing package. 

Second major question, is my availability?

     To be able to answer this question I would need to know what location you are wanting an the package you are wanting. I book a few sessions per weekend.

          Lets talk about location! 

                  Lets say that you want to schedule the first Saturday available at 1pm, but I have a session that was schedule for two month prior at 11 am in Clearlake for 1 hour,  and another one in Lakeport at 3:30pm, but you don't have a location yet. I wouldn't know if I can make it at 1pm without knowing where I am going. Location, Location is key to schedule. And also how long of a session it would be to make sure I can make it on time for my next session.

Third major question, is how long does it take to get the photos? 

      3-6 Weeks (editing process) to have photos on a gallery. After clients gives the print list it takes another 1-2 weeks to receive photos. 

             I usually send out Gallery links few days or up to a week after your shoot, I get very excited to give you a Sneak Peek of the photos. Do keep in mind that I will go down my list in order for editing. Say that I had 5 shoots that week and you are the 5th session, I will give you a Sneak Peek and go back to finishing session number 1. When I add more photos it will be on the same gallery link I originally sent you. 

Fourth major question is, do you Photoshop? 

      NO! I do light edits only...

Firth major question, can I download my photos digitally from the gallery link? 

     Yes, Yes! all clients have access to downloading their own photos digitally. And yes all of the photos on your gallery. Please DO NOT screenshot any of the photos. I want you to have a crisp images for you to share.  

Sixth major question, how do I order prints? 

     When I am done editing your session I will then send you a print package and a example that comes with your session (doesn't cost you extra), each session has it's own unique print package. When you give me a list of photo number to print please remember not to send screenshots, photo numbers are the best to send for a quicker process. 

      If you would like to order any extra photos you can from the gallery link or give me a list of the extras and will place a order with the rest of the photos (payment is due at the time you give me the list).

Seventh major question, do I ship or deliver photos?

     I rather set up a date and time to deliver photos, my usual days are Friday's or Monday's. I can ship to your home for a additional fee.

One hour Session, one or two months before the event.  Make sure your dress is ready so I could photograph you in it. You could always take a second outfit to photography in. You will get a 16x20 (of your choice) photo out of this session. Normally takes 2 to 3 weeks to get the photo here. Please schedule session at least one month before the event. 

Session de una hora, un or dos meses antes del evento.  Asegurese que el vestido este listo para poderle sacar fotos en el. Puede traer otro cambio de ropa tambien. De esta session viene una foto en grande (16x20) de su eleccion.  Normalmente dura 2 a 3 semanas en llegar. La session deberia ser por lo menos un mes antes de la fiesta. 

16x20 print options:

1) with a backboard. Con respaldo

One hour session in church. 

Una hora en la Iglesia 

One hour session at a second location with yourself, chambelanes and Family members.

The reception is another important memory. At that time I will take photos of the Cake, Decorations, Guest and or if you have a backdrop that would be a good time to get your guest to take photos with you. 

La recepsion es otra parte mas improtate de este evento. Normalmente a este tiempo yo tomo fotos del pastel, decoraciones, invitados o si tienes un backdrop es el mejor tiempo de invitar a los familiares a tomarse fotos con tigo.

Dances are so important to capture...

And if you are a guest please remember that the family has hired me as their professional photographer and if you are having me pause so you can take a photo with your phone that I have already take with my camera isn't fair for my paying clients. And if you are the clients please remind your guest.

Figuring out what to wear for your senior session could be tricky. I put together some tips of what to wear and what to bring for your photo session. 

I recommend to bring about 3-5 outfits for a 1hr session (I always recommend to get a hour session). We might not use them all but its always better to have more choices than not. 

You could never go wrong with a simple tee-shirt and nice jeans. 

Something casual, formal and something in between...

A button up shirt it a must in my book. It's dressy but not to fancy. 

If you play any sports, make sure you bring your jersey and any accessories that goes with it (ball, gloves, bat, etc) so you could always remember your glory days.

Overall just bring anything that will show your personality. And remember to always have fun!

Here are some ideas of what to wear for this memorable session.  

Choose a timeless look...

The Maxi Dress...

I will give you a few reason why a Maxi dress is the best choice. For starters, it's incredibly comfortable. Comfort is the key to Pregnancy and when taking a photo shoot for an hour or so. It's incredibly flattering and looks amazing on a pregnant body.The flowing fabric can hid anything you don't want shown. 

         Seasonal colors and prints is a good choice. 

A belt...

A belt looks great with a shirt or a dress, it will pull in any loose clothing and will create a waist line that will define your belly.

Don't just feel limited to a dress. You could bring a oversize sweater to a lace top.  

Bring anything that's comfortable and makes you feel beautiful!

Here are some creative ideas on how to make it memorable. 

It could be a simple jeans and a crown kinda shoot. 

Bring his/her favorite toy or thing. It could be a ball, teddy bear, favorite book or even a favorite blanket. 

 You could bring a cupcake or even a cake. But be ready it might get a bit messy...

 The ultrasound or baby photo would be a sweet reminder of how much he/she's grown. 

make sure to bring a few clothing changes. We might not use them all but it's always better to have more to choose from then not.

and don't forget accessories... One blocks or letters are perfect for either boy or girl. Balloons or over size baskets would give that extra creative look on your photos.

 Girls don't forget your fancy bows, dresses and shoes. Boys don't forget your hats, suspenders, bow ties and sunglasses. 

Here is some ideas to guide you for this memorable day...

In order to plan on a color palette the most important questions are, location and season? Also look at your home decor colors. Since you will be hanging these photos in your house you want to make sure the colors of your clothes go with the color scheme of your home. 

I could be something as beautiful as a winery in a hot summer morning. White and grey shirts with some jeans or even jean short would photograph well.

It could be in a park with all white shirts and jeans is a nice classic look. 

or Boots in fall give that extra touch for your photos. 

Grey's are always a great choice for any season. 

Don't forget accessories! 

Accessories not only add to your outfit but they can be fun to use in photos. 

At the end of the day, one of the most important things to keep in mind when taking family photos is to have fun. Make sure to take a goofy shots, hey, that might be the one you like and frame. 

Being well prepared for your Senior Photos can make a big difference between average and fabulous photos! 

Here's some tips to prepare you for your session...

*Hair*

As a photographer I try and help with hair, it is hard to know what your hair "is supposed to look like." Please let me know your preferences. Better yet, bring your best friend with you for the session and he/she can help.  Any hair changes during the session should be quick and simple so you have as much camera time. 

Bring Hair spray, pins, and whatever else you might need to keep your hair out of your face. 

A brush and Mirror is a must! Just for any touch-ups you might need. 

                                        *don't do any drastic changed to your hairstyle right before your session*

*Makeup*

Makeup is the best preparation for your session. It will even out skin tones. If you don't normally wear makeup make sure you still take the time to apply some so your photos will look extra good. 

Apply a bit more than normal. If you choose to wear foundation with SPF make sure you wear heavier powder. The SPF give a shine on the photos. 

Don't forget your powder to go or any other makeup you think you might need to re apply. (Make sure to be quick).

*Clothing*

Keep it simple...    But not too simple...

Plan for several outfits to bring, like:

• Something you love! Anything you feel comfortable in. Stuff that makes you feel AMAZING!. Lack of confidence could affect your photos.
• Your favorite jeans and a plain shirt. You could never go wrong with a simple look.
• Dress and heels!! it's a must in my book. But only if your comfortable in them. You could have a nice summer dress or a fancy dress. Dressy or Dressy-casual. 
• Color- Bring some solid colors. It always photographs well. Bring a few pieces with vibrant colors! We all love colors that pop. Just bring it as an accessory to add to the shoot (hat, shoes, belt, jacket, lipstick etc.)
• Texture for fall photos gives that extra element to the photos. ( knit sweater, ruffles on a skirt, stockings, etc)
• Shoes!!! Most important of it all... I am a shoe-aholic but the truth is shoes can make your outfit, it ties everything together. One pair is not enough. trust me! Bring lots of pairs even if we don't use them all. 

                Cap and gown! if you have it lets take a few with it! If you need one to borrow please let me know before hand to make sure I have the right school colors for you. 

BRING YOUR PROM DRESS!!! 

*Props*

Wear your number! 

Bring props that help show who you are:

• Sports (basketball, soccer ball, softball bat, football, etc.)
• Sports Uniforms
• Musical Instruments

*Jewlery*

Keep it simple. Anything that is big or shiny can distract from you. It doesn't hurt to bring a variety to choose from to compliment your outfit. It doesn't hurt to bring numerous jewelry with you to choose from.
